Stratasys holds annual Asia Pacific 3D Printing Forum

Stratasys Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Stratasys Ltd. (Nasdaq: SSYS), a global leader of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, will be holding its annual Stratasys 3D Printing Forum in three locations across Asia Pacific: Shanghai, China (August 25), Tokyo, Japan (August 27) and Seoul, Korea (August 28).

Entitled "3D Printing: Transforming the Manufacturing Landscape -- Enable Organizations. Empower Individuals," the single-day event brings together industry experts, thought leaders and customers to discuss the latest additive manufacturing trends, industry-specific solutions and application best practices.

"The first Stratasys Asia Pacific 3D Printing Forum last year was a great success as we demonstrated how 3D printing solutions empower businesses. This year we deep dive into advanced applications such as direct digital manufacturing, and industry-specific solutions that re-define the manufacturing landscape," said Omer Krieger, General Manager of Stratasys Asia Pacific & Japan. "3D printing has been widely adopted in industries such as automotive, consumer goods and education. We hope that more organizations and individuals can learn from the sharing of local and overseas customers, gaining insights on the applications that meet the needs of their specific segments."

Presenters will include:

Hod Lipson, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University who will give the keynote presentation on exciting business opportunities enabled with 3D printing
Executives from leading companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Hyundai Mobis, LG Electronics and Takara Tomy who will share best practices on 3D printing for prototyping, direct manufacturing, and tooling including injection molds
Richard Garrity, Stratasys Vertical Solutions Vice President will discuss the impact of 3D printing on Automotive, Consumer Goods and Education.
