Complex manufacturing at rapid speeds

The world's fastest and largest direct metal 3D printers will allow Additive Manufacturing to become a mass manufacturing process when fully developed, opening up a whole world of possibilities for the simplification of complex assemblies, on-demand production and better performing, more efficient products.

Aurora Labs' Rapid Manufacturing Printer One (RMP1) is the world's first Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) 3D printer featuring Multi-layer Concurrent Printing (MCP) technology. Aurora's patented MCP technology allows for direct metal 3D printing at rates much faster than was previously possible with the established single layer DMLM technology.
RMP1 features a large ø450mm x 400mm build volume, multiple lasers with several power options. MCP technology allows the multi-laser system to operate over multiple powder layers in parallel, multiplying laser on-time and productivity over non-MCP equipped DMLM systems.
The advantage of teaming MCP technology with DMLM technology is the reduced requirement for furnace treatments over MIM technologies, helping to achieve greater quality production of complex geometries produced with metal additive manufacturing.
