WEERG 3D NOW ALSO IN RED

New industrial online painting service

Weerg's passion for 3D printing turns red. The Pantone colour RAL 3000 is the first colour available for the exclusive industrial painting service recently launched by the Italian e-business known for its CNC machining and online 3D printing. The new colour finish can be applied specifically to all Weerg 3D printed parts, using both HP Multi Jet Fusion 5210 technology and 3D Systems' ProX® SLS 6100 Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology.

Available online since the end of January and available in semi-matt and semi-gloss versions, the coating process is carried out with a spray gun by qualified personnel in a professional booth installed ad hoc at Weerg's headquarters, guaranteeing maximum speed and quality. The parts are air-dried in a few minutes and require no further processing.
Once again Weerg is at the spearhead of innovation. Thanks to the innovative and intelligent approach that has always distinguished Weerg, the company is currently the only 3D printing service that offers this type of inline finishing on an industrial scale and with immediate pricing, making it very popular with offline manufacturers in the protipation or small series sector. At weerg.com, the service can also be used for orders under time pressure, as delivery takes place within just 3 working days, making the service at the forefront in terms of execution speed.
Painting is combined with coloring, which is already available for 3D molded parts with SLS technology. During the colouring process, the paint penetrates directly into the part, creating a more opaque and less intense effect; the paint, on the other hand, creates a thin layer of paint that covers the object, protecting it and giving it a more compact and brilliant effect. "For reasons of practicality, we decided to start with red, one of the colours most desired by our customers," explains Matteo Rigamonti, founder of Weerg, and announced the imminent introduction of other colours such as white and green.
