Sintratec is strengthening its presence in Western Europe. With the new partnership with the industrial specialist Bender AM from the Netherlands, the Swiss manufacturer of compact SLS systems is now also represented in the Benelux region.
Bendertechniek B.V. is a company with over 50 years of experience in the metal and plastics processing industry, specializing in the sale and service of lathes, milling and grinding machines. In response to the upswing in additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing, the subsidiary Bender Additive Manufacturing B.V. was founded in 2014. The team around sales manager Henny ten Pas focuses on the sale of 3D printers and related materials for the Dutch and Flemish manufacturing industry - and now with Sintratec systems in the portfolio.
Especially with the new Sintratec S2 solution, Bender AM complements its offer in the field of selective laser sintering, which was previously limited to large industrial machines in the upper price segment: "With its first-class systems for small series production, product development and prototyping, we consider Sintratec to be the missing link for our customers in the Benelux region," emphasizes Henny ten Pas. For Sintratec AG, this partnership means a further foothold in the important Western European market and a related expansion of its global supplier and support network.
