Massivit 3D to mark the North America debut of the Massivit 10000 at the largest USA composites industry exhibition

Visitors at Massivit 3D’s booth will experience live demonstrations of the Massivit 10000 additive manufacturing system- producing a range of applications.

Massivit 3D Printing Technologies (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: MSVT), a leading provider of large-scale 3D printing systems, will present its latest technologies and applications at CAMX 2022 in Anaheim, California at Booth V48 on October 17-20. Exhibit attendees will have the opportunity to see how large-volume 3D printing allows manufacturers to significantly shorten production lead times for parts, molds, and prototypes.
The company will provide live demonstrations of the recently launched Massivit 10000 additive manufacturing system, designed to enable high-speed, direct printing of molds, tools, mandrels, plugs, jigs, and fixtures for composite materials manufacturing across a range of industries. Massivit 3D will also showcase applications and printed parts produced on the company's Massivit 5000 large-scale 3D printer.
The Massivit 10000 won the Award for Composites Excellence granted by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) Awards in the category: “Manufacturing: Equipment and Tooling Innovation” at CAMX 2021. The launch of the Massivit 10000 this year in Europe to the composites market has already generated significant demand, reflected in 28 existing reservations for the system. To date, there are three customers who have installed the Massivit 10000 in three different countries to leverage this disruptive technology for manufacturing in the Aerospace, Automotive, and luxury Bath ware industries.
The Massivit 10000 is designed to empower composites fabricators to digitally produce complex, custom molds, and tools within a matter of days, instead of weeks. Based on Massivit 3D’s Cast In Motion (CIM) technology, the system combines ultra-fast, additive manufacturing with high-performance, thermoset casting materials to enable automated tooling for composite material manufacturing. It is a finalist for the CAMX Unsurpassed Innovation Award.
Launched earlier this year, the Massivit 10000 has been developed to overcome the bottlenecks of mold production for composite materials manufacturing by eradicating the need to produce a plug or master, thereby speeding up mold production time by up to 80%. The system reduces the numerous steps required in conventional mold production workflows down to just four steps. It also decreases labor-associated costs by up to 90% and significantly reduces material waste associated with manual and machining methods.
“We’ve eagerly awaited this momentous occasion - the unveiling of the Massivit 10000 to the North America composites arena,” said Erez Zimerman, CEO at Massivit 3D. "Cast In Motion technology changes the game for manufacturers, enabling them to directly print isotropic, high-performance, complex molds within a matter of days. The Massivit 10000 has already scooped up industry acclaim, winning the prestigious ACE award in 2021 and again being selected as a finalist for two industry awards at the upcoming CAMX show. The CAMX show provides a unique opportunity for manufacturers aiming to remain competitive to explore automated mold production, see a live demo, and learn about the Massivit 10000’s tangible time and cost benefits.”
