Mobile Analysis: 3D and 2D CAD Viewer to go

The 3D_Analyzer Viewer from CoreTechnologie is now available for mobile use via a license loan function.

The powerful 3D_Analyzer Viewer of the German-French software manufacturer CoreTechnologie (CT) can be used in the current version 4.3 via a license lending function for a limited period of time, e.g. mobile via laptop. Even in the low-cost basic version, the 3D_Analyzer has 24 different interface formats such as CATIA V5/V6, NX, Inventor SolidWorks, Creo, STEP, JT as well as FBX and OBJ. 2D drawings can also be imported in the new version.

Outstanding analysis functions

The 3D_Analyzer Professional version of the Viewer provides outstanding analysis functions that are usually available in this form in CAD systems that are much more expensive. Model comparison, collision check and gap check are available for assemblies. Components can be analyzed for wall thicknesses, draft angles and undercuts as well as projected surfaces. This makes the Viewer the ideal tool for users who use a CAD system for data viewing and detailed analysis, but usually do not design. The flexible viewer helps to ease the license utilization of expensive CAD licenses and thus significantly reduce costs. A special highlight of the Professional Viewer is the option of saving all imported CAD models as JT or 3D PDF files.

Advanced 3D burr technology

The trend-setting version 4.3 of the 3D_Analyzer supports the advanced 3D master technology. CAD models from V5, NX and Creo as well as from STEP AP 242 and JT can be displayed with dimensions, shape and position tolerances as well as predefined views. By using the 3D master, 2D drawings will no longer be necessary in the future, since all production-relevant information is summarized in the 3D data set in the so-called views or captures. Intelligent 3D master models enable paperless production and avoid the differences between 3D and 2D data that often occur in practice. This clever technology is currently gaining in importance for the integrated manufacturing process in the context of Industry 4.0. With the 3D_Analyzer Viewer, 3D master models can also be used on lightweight, low-cost tablets.
