AddUp Academy Online platform integrates expertise from independent technical centers

The e-learning site “AddUp Academy Online” is gaining several new partners, confirming its position as a reference platform for online training in the field of metal additive manufacturing. Two independent technical centers now offer themed courses on AddUp Academy Online.

The CTIF (Centre Technique des Industries de la Fonderie), which is the reference technical center in France for
metallurgy trades, offers an expert level training course in the field of materials used in metal additive manufacturing. And IPC center, which is the reference technical center for plastics injection and composites industrialists, offers a course dedicated to the optimization of tooling using the conformal cooling method. These two partnerships allow the “AddUp Academy Online” platform to affirm its strategy of providing advanced training content to industry and academia without any commercial discourse.
In addition, the platform incorporates two new courses on DED technology. Since the launch of the website in 2018, the training courses cover all metal additive manufacturing technologies, with a particular focus on LBM technology. Today, the platform confirms this ability to provide multi-technology training by offering two new paths specific to DED technology. These courses “DED Technology Methods” and “DED Technology Manufacturing” are delivered by BeAM experts.
Finally, “AddUp Academy Online” offers a new course entitled “Innovating with Additive Manufacturing”. This training is delivered by an expert from Poly-Shape, who emphasizes the importance for companies to integrate the concept of creativity and place it at the heart of their organizations.
