Engineers can get their designs done faster, with instant access to Xometry part manufacturing quotas, without leaving the SOLIDWORKS and CATIA design environments.

Dassault Systèmes and Xometry announce their collaboration to provide customers with an integrated and seamless way to produce parts that accelerate the manufacturing process. Engineers using the Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS and CATIA applications will have automatic and immediate access to Xometry's MAKE Marketplace shares for manufacturing parts, without leaving their design environment. The announcement was made at Dassault Systèmes' annual event, 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, held in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
Engineers can now take on a greater role in production part design, focusing on the shape of the prototype as well as the cost of producing it. Previously, when looking for manufacturing quotas from service providers, the process used to require a dozen clicks on a web interface, while now, in one click, they have an immersive experience integrated with SOLIDWORKS and CATIA. These engineers can now see Xometry pricing on their screens in the context of their design, and click to have it manufactured, all while maintaining the option to receive instant or manual quotes from their MAKE Marketplace vendors.

Through this collaboration, Xometry becomes the first 'prime partner' of Dassault Systèmes' MAKE Marketplace. This new category recognizes qualified service providers who have industry grade quality certifications and production capabilities to meet demanding needs, as well as high satisfaction rates. Dassault Systèmes plans to add other 'prime partners' to the 3DEXPERIENCE Marketplace ecosystem.
