Arena International is putting the final touches on the Packaging and Converting Executive (PACE) Forum, scheduled for 12 – 14 February 2014 in Brussels. Topping the agenda are visionary keynote speakers and the opportunity for senior decision makers from the world's leading FMCG manufacturers to interact with each other and with industry experts to come away with actionable ideas that can be put to work immediately.

"We are excited to bring exceptionally high quality speaker and content to this important event," said Mihaela Biti, Head of Conference Programme of Arena International. "Our keynote speakers and conference content are shaping up to be the best ever in our nine-year history."

Keynote presentations include:

• Marta Pazos, Decorative Finishes & Materials Senior Scientist, Procter & Gamble, who will discuss low volume/high margin product packaging development and will share insights into exclusive processes and design features.

• Arno Melchior, Global Packaging Director, Reckitt Benckiser Group, speaking about the ROI of Sustainability, including how to successfully measure carbon and how to deliver on commitments by using more packaging.

• Aline Clavellina, Marketing Vice President, Grupo Bimbo, will talk about funding innovation successfully by improving the commerciality of the total product, including creating successful partnerships outside of your converter network.

• Building Your Brand with HP Digital Printing. This session, presented by HP, will highlight exciting cross-media campaigns that integrate with packaging, including the much-publicized Coca Cola campaign in Europe that used personalized labels and a discussion of Heineken's customer engagement strategy.

"PACE 2013 was a huge success, and PACE 2014 is shaping up to be even more exciting," Biti added. "Professionals in our industry understand that fast innovation is the key to product success, and this can only be achieved by a thorough understanding of processes across the entire supply chain. PACE 2014 is structured to address this and other components of success in a unique, collaborative and participative manner."
