On Oct. 23, SGP held its first Community Event which was facilitated by Jonathan Graham, sustainability program manager for Graphic Solutions Business at Hewlett-Packard and SGP Board Member. With more than 60 sustainability enthusiasts in attendance, the entire day was packed with information to help move the printing industry into a more sustainable future.
Keynote Presenter Suzanna Eversole of REI spoke on driving the sustainability message through the supply chain while Jonathan Graham of HP moderated.
Libra Balian, Kris Hentnick & Jeanine Matteo of Ann, Inc. discussed their sustainability initiatives and their pathway for moving forward. On their "wish list" is SGP Printers.
Marci Kinter spoke about sustainability and the benefits of SGP at SGIA's Sustainability Zone on the show floor.
SGP Board Meets in Vegas
The SGP Board of Directors met in Las Vegas to begin discussions on projects and programs for 2015. Top of the agenda was a discussion about the new SGP website due to be launched in January.
