Charity Creative Award: winners of the CEWE PRINT.de creative competition have been announced

The 30 most beautiful motifs of the competition in favour of Deutsche Sporthilfe for the motto "moments of victory" were chosen at the Ball des Sports

The winners of the 4th Charity Creative Awards (CCA) have been announced. First place goes to Jaye Kang with his motif "We win together". From October 1, 2019 to January 5, 2020, participants were able to submit their designs for a greeting card on the occasion of the Olympic Games on the theme of "moments of victory". The winners were honored on Saturday at the Ball of Sports. All winning motifs are now available in the Design Edition for the good cause at www.cewe-print.de/gewinner.html.
"We win together" is the title of this year's winning picture, which was designed by Düsseldorf illustrator Jaye Kang. The motif makes it clear that a victory can never be won alone, but that a whole team always contributes to an athlete reaching his or her peak performance. The designer himself describes the image as follows: "We laugh loudly, we party hard, we win together! This is our moment of victory". Kang can now also celebrate: His victory now takes him on a trip to the Olympic Games in Tokyo in July.
In addition to the Olympic moments of victory, the award jury consisting of designers and athletes also honored the Paralympic Thought. Thus, second place goes to Dagmar Yanbak and her motif "Decision", which shows the jubilation after the decisive basket in a Paralympic basketball game. The picture is intended to pay tribute to the Paralympics as an "important part of the Olympic idea and worldwide sport", according to the designer.
Winners on all sides
But not only the 30 prize winners of this year's CCA can be happy. More than 400 participants also provide for jubilation at Deutsche Sporthilfe. For each participant CEWE-PRINT donates proceeds from the benefit to Deutsche Sporthilfe. And that is not all: the winning motifs will also be available as an exclusive greeting card edition on CEWE-PRINT.de/gewinner.html. For every card sold, another 30 cents will be donated to the sports aid organisation Deutsche Sporthilfe.
Arndt Bessing, Managing Director of CEWE-PRINT.de, is pleased about the lively response to the award and the high quality of the designs submitted: "This year it was really difficult for us to choose a winner - there were so many expressive and well-designed motifs. We are very happy with the winning motifs and would be delighted if the greeting cards gave the Olympians in Tokyo an additional boost of motivation".
Oliver Rau, member of the board of Deutsche Sporthilfe: "The number of entries overwhelmed me. For me, every greeting card is a winning motif. I would like to thank all the designers who took part in this year's CCA and thus contributed to the promotion of our athletes".
This year, the CCA award ceremony took place in a particularly festive setting: The winners of the first three places received their awards from jury member and Olympic participant Ruth Sophia Spelmeyer at the 50th Ball des Sports at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden.
