At drupa, SPRINTIS will be presenting its comprehensive range of products for printers, bookbinders and converters from 16.06. to 26.06.2020 in Düsseldorf at Messest(r)and B06 in Hall 6. Innovations to be presented at the SPRINTIS Beach include the changeover from wooden to cardboard sidewalls for wire spine spools and the automatic A1500 tape dispenser, a successor model to the successful A1200. Other highlights are the transparent, self-adhesive paper pockets, flap bags made of PLA film and bamboo folding legs from the EcologiQ product line. A new edition of the bookbinding glue test kit with Binderflex dispersion adhesives in trial sizes is available for take-away.
At the largest and most important international trade fair for the printing and print finishing industry, SPRINTIS will be presenting its wide range of services with over 4,000 products - all from one source! In addition to new products, top sellers such as wire binder spines, disc magnets and the wide range of book screws and calendar accessories will be on display.
New at SPRINTIS is the changeover of the side panels of the wire binding spines from wood to cardboard. The advantages of the new system are obvious, such as cost reduction and increased efficiency through cheaper and easier disposal as well as lower, weight-dependent transport and shipping costs. The side walls can be disposed of easily via paper waste instead of bulky waste. In addition, the new system helps to improve the ecological footprint, as the wire tie back coils can be transported with lower emissions due to the lower weight. The diameters range from 5/8" (16 mm) to 1 1/4" (32 mm) depending on the variant. SPRINTIS has recently introduced the spool size 5/8" (16 mm diameter).
The high-quality electronic tape dispenser A1500 convinces with a new memory function. It is the successor model of the extremely successful A1200 and enables the dispensing of up to 6 stored lengths one after the other. With this electronic tape dispenser, processing all common single and double-sided adhesive tapes becomes child's play. All automatic dispensers are equipped with high-quality, hardened knife blades as standard and are programmable. They have a hinged housing cover for easy cleaning.
SPRINTIS has developed the follow-up test kit with Binderflex glues especially for bookbinders. The Binderflex glues stand for: Premium quality, high efficiency and quick availability. They offer an inexpensive option for highest demands! The test kit contains the Binderflex Block Glue B120, which was specially developed for manual block gluing of writing and note pads, desk pads and much more. It is well suited for laminating paper to paper, paper to cardboard and paper to fabric material. The Binderflex spine glue/universal glue R120, which is also included in the test kit, is ideal for adhesive binding in bookbinding. It is characterised by good processing properties and can also be used universally for all other bookbinding work if only one type of glue is required. The test kit with Binderflex B120 and Binderflex R120 is available for taking along at the booth.
With the introduction of its own product line EcologiQ, SPRINTIS demonstrates the high importance of the future-oriented topics of sustainability, environmental and climate protection in the company. Last year, this product line was further expanded and the existing range of flap bags and delivery note bags made of recycled PE film was supplemented by self-adhesive paper triangular bags in the formats 100 x 100 mm and 140 x 140 mm, transparent and self-adhesive paper business card bags in the format 100 x 60 mm, transparent. Both the bags themselves and the cover paper can be disposed of in the waste paper. Also new in the range are flap bags made of environmentally friendly PLA film, produced from the renewable raw material corn starch. A real eye-catcher among the EcologiQ products are the newly added bamboo folding legs for handmade paper processing. These elegant helpers adorn every workplace and can be used for many purposes: for folding, folding, rubbing, smoothing and shaping. They have a pointed as well as a rounded side and are available in the lengths 160 mm and 195 mm.
