Valpak Print and Digital Expands in Dallas

Local Entrepreneurs Add New Territories and Expand Reach for Businesses and Consumers

Valpak, a leader in local print and digital coupons, announced today that husband and wife team, Hunter and Kimberley Dunn, have expanded their existing Valpak business to include additional territories in Dallas, Texas. The entrepreneurs now mail Valpak's signature blue envelope to Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman and Grayson counties, totaling 870,000 homes per month.

"Since first joining the Valpak family in 1996, I always knew that I wanted to expand my business," said Hunter Dunn, Valpak of Dallas franchisee. "This recent acquisition is the final piece of the consolidation of the Dallas market that we started in 2008. Having the entire market under one roof gives us even more opportunity for success and allows us to bring more savings to businesses and consumers in the community."

Hunter began selling Valpak's products and services straight out of college after receiving his finance degree from Texas A&M University. He purchased his first Valpak franchise in March of 2008, which covered Southwest and East Dallas. In 2010, Hunter was elected to the Valpak Franchisees' Association board of directors and has served as the president of the association since 2012. He currently has a team of 16 employees in the Dallas region.

"Hunter has been a tremendous asset to the Valpak community," said Greg Courchane, Valpak's director of franchise sales. "As our franchise association president, he has shared his passion and drive with the rest of our Valpak network. We are confident that he will take his expanded Dallas territory to new heights."

A leader in cooperative direct mail, Valpak mails over 20 billion coupons to nearly 40 million demographically-targeted households per month in more than 100 markets in 45 states and four Canadian provinces. Today, in addition to its flagship blue envelope, the brand offers its business customers an impressive portfolio of digital advertising products including Smartphone apps, which are also integrated into the Samsung Wallet, iOS Passbook, Google Wallet and Windows Phone Wallet, as well as QR codes and online coupons to reach consumers at home, and on-the-go. Cox Target Media, providers of Valpak, also owns Savings.com, a leading online source for savings and personalized deals. Working together, Valpak and Savings.com offer consumers a more extensive selection of offers and rewarding shopping experience as content is shared across platforms.

Ideal candidates for Valpak franchise ownership should possess a desire to join a trusted, industry-leading brand, work within a proven franchise system, develop relationships with local businesses and have a comfort level with selling new, digital technologies. Franchisees should also possess a minimum liquidity of $75,000, and a minimum net worth of $150,000.
