PRINTING United Alliance Presents CI Ready! Virtual Event This April

Four days of informational sessions on April 19-22 focus on the foundational principles and tools needed when implementing a continuous improvement program

PRINTING United Alliance today announced that its popular CI Ready! event will be held virtually on April 19-22, 2021 from 2 – 3 pm ET each day. This virtual conference event features four sessions presented over four days that focus on the foundational principles and tools necessary when implementing a continuous improvement program. This PRINTING United Alliance event supports companies searching for practical ways to reduce operational costs, speed throughput, and boost customer experience and satisfaction. Registration for the event is now live.
CI Ready! is tailor-made for executives and managers who are either exploring the value of a continuous improvement (CI) program, may be in the early stages of implementing one, or need an easily communicated way to educate employees on the principles and tools. Attendees will hear ideas and learn from real-life examples on how to cut costs, reduce waste, improve performance, and inspire change.
Those attending this event -- frequently comprised of owners, leaders, plant managers, operations and manufacturing managers, quality control managers and continuous improvement facilitators -- will hear from John Compton, Compton & Associates; Dan Markovitz, Markovitz Consulting; Dr. Alan G. Robinson, award-winning author and authority on corporate innovation and improvement; and Dan Rudnicki, Royal Containers, on the following topics:
• How CI “thinking” transforms printing companies and drives greater profit;
• The principles of CI and Lean production;
• Why starting with 5S is a smart approach and how to do it;
• How to receive and implement improvement ideas from employees;
• An easy-to-use process for better decision-making; and
• How to build momentum for a dedicated CI effort.
“CI Ready! will help companies understand the sustainable competitive advantage that can come from a continuous improvement strategy,” said Jim Workman, Vice President of Technology and Research, PRINTING United Alliance. “But more importantly, the event will explain the components to a strategy and advice for implementing it.”
