As of now, companies from glass machinery building, glass industry and the glazier trade can apply for participation in glasstec 2024 – International Trade Fair for Glass Production, Processing and Products. The world’s leading trade fair for the glass sector will be held at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 22 to 25 October 2024.


WPCF members to meet at Pack Print in Bangkok

Members of the World Print & Communication Forum (WPCF) look forward to meeting again in person during Pack Print in Bangkok in September 2023.
The World Print & Communication Forum is a federation of printing associations worldwide to exchange information on the state of the graphic arts and packaging industry.

Government engages with print and paper at No10

The IPIA is very proud to have participated in a joint delegation to No10 Downing Street to advocate for the print, paper and packaging industries. Its members met with a senior special advisor to the Prime Minister.
The delegates participated in an industry roundtable, the aim of which was to facilitate discussion with government and set out the contribution of our industries to the economic and social progress of the UK – while highlighting the structural and strategic support that could spur new growth.

Shiner Beer and Ball Corporation capture Colored by INX Can Design Contest title

Shiner Beer and Ball Corporation have won the fourth annual Colored by INX Can Design Contest. Their design entry for Shiner Texhex Bruja’s Brew IPA was determined to be the best of the five finalists in voting conducted by an independent panel of judges and the public through INX International’s Facebook and LinkedIn social media pages.

INX Can Design Contest Voting set for June 14-16

Voting for the fourth annual Colored by INX Can Design Contest will be held for three days beginning this Wednesday, June 14. An independent panel of five judges has selected the five finalists and the can contest designs can be viewed online. The winning entry will be announced on the INX International website and social media platforms on June 22.

First personalisation experience helps visitors unlock the value of personalisation

The first Personalisation Experience event from FESPA took place in parallel with FESPA Global Print Expo and European Sign Expo 2023 in Munich last month (23-26 May) delivering a rich expert-led conference programme, together with the opportunity for all visitors to connect with providers of personalisation technologies and order personalised products in the Personalisation Experience Zone.

Government heeds the IPIA’s call for engagement

Following its recent meeting with Special Advisors to the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at No10 Downing Street, the Government has delivered on a key strategic support request from the IPIA.
IPIA Chair, Charles Rogers, was invited to attend an event hosted by the Deputy Prime Minister, MP Oliver Dowden, to represent the UK print industry at a special Business Leaders Reception at No10. The invitation form’s part of a proactive response from Government to the IPIA’s formal request for the, “Identification of UK print and paper as ‘industries of strategic value’ to our economy.”
