Sandvik Machining Solutions is reviewing additional efficiency measures and as such envisages the possible closure of the manufacturing facility in Fondettes, France, whilst relocating the produced volumes to other facilities within Sandvik Machining Solutions. The planned action would generate savings at an annual run-rate of an estimated 100 million SEK.
Operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2018 would be impacted by items affecting comparability of an estimated -450 million SEK, with cash flow effect of an estimated -400 million SEK.
