Bizerba, a supplier of weighing solutions, cutting machines and labelling systems, has acquired the Italian service provider Electronic Service Italia S.r.l. based in Bovolone near Verona. With the takeover of ESI, Bizerba expands its service competence in Italy.
Founded in 1999, ESI is an established service provider in the fields of weighing systems, labelling systems and label printers, barcode readers, industrial image processing systems and RFID technology. Like Bizerba, ESI stands for high quality with the UNI-EN-ISO-9001 certification (since 2004), continuous improvement for the increasing and increasingly complex market requirements and for optimum after-sales service to guarantee efficient installation, prompt diagnosis and cost transparency.
ESI's company name will remain with Electronic Service Italia S.r.l. and its Managing Director Paolo Padovani will continue to manage the business in close coordination with Mauro Tremolada, Managing Director of Bizerba Italy.
From 1 August 2019, ESI will become part of the Bizerba Group and will be managed and integrated into the Group by its long-standing subsidiary Bizerba Italy.
