Onlineprinters buys finishing company

Relocation of catalogue production

The online printing company Onlineprinters, which is known in Germany under the brand diedruckerei.de, has taken over the company "RIB Industrie-Buchbinderei" based in Waldbüttelbrunn (Würzburg district). "With this company acquisition, we are building on a partnership that has already proven its worth over many years," emphasises Roland Keppler, CEO of the Onlineprinters Group, and adds: "For us, high quality and delivery reliability have top priority. We are therefore very pleased to welcome further highly qualified employees". During a works meeting, he officially welcomed the 15 RIB employees to the group. The purchase was made as part of an age-related succession plan. Peter Hemberger, who had previously managed RIB with two other shareholders who co-founded the company, will now be responsible for the operational management of the site.
Further processing of catalogue products
With the integration of RIB into the Onlineprinters Group, all catalogue products will be further processed at the new location. In addition, it is planned to relocate the further processing of brochures with special requirements to Waldbüttelbrunn in the medium term. These production-related changes will not affect jobs at the two German sites in Neustadt an der Aisch and Waldbüttelbrunn. Neustadt an der Aisch is home to the main production facility for online printers, which now has five plants, with the latest generation of offset and digital printing presses, as well as machinery for finishing and a large-format printing production facility. From here, thousands of parcels leave the company every day, which are delivered to customers in 30 European countries. In addition to orders for online printers, RIB will continue to work for external customers.
