Kyocera remains on a growth path

At the beginning of the new fiscal year, Kyocera Document Solutions is repositioning itself. To this end, the company is strengthening its personnel and positioning itself as a specialised service provider in the field of document management.

"From document input, document processing and administration to output management: Our comprehensive hardware, software and service portfolio enables us to provide comprehensive support to corporate customers in optimising and digitising their business processes," explains Stephen Schienbein, Sales Director at Kyocera Document Solutions Deutschland GmbH.
To achieve this, the company is pursuing an ambitious growth course. A key objective is to further expand the synergies with the two subsidiaries Alos GmbH and AKI GmbH. Schienbein: "We want to have a uniform market presence as the Kyocera Group. In this way we want to expand our current business and at the same time address key account sales and project business more strongly".
Kyocera is not only filling twelve new positions in sales, but is also adjusting its own organization. In this context, product management, marketing communication and CSR have been merged into one department. The newly established marketing department is intended to bundle the orientation of the product and communication strategy. Under the leadership of Marketing Director Pascal Seifert, the issue of sustainability will also be further promoted and a uniform brand strategy developed. Seifert is handing over his previous position as Service Director to Erik Kaffine, who was previously Head of Product Support at the company.
In addition, two new sales teams will be created. Under the leadership of Dirk Wagner, the key account will further expand new customer business and position Kyocera even more strongly as a consulting service provider as well as promote the topic of production printing. The SI team (system integrators and IT system houses), under the leadership of Rainer Deutscher, will take over the nationwide support and development of defined system houses including their branches. Schienbein: "Both Dirk Wagner and Rainer Deutscher have worked for Kyocera for several years as regional sales managers. They therefore have extensive experience in the market. I am pleased that we were able to fill these important positions with our own personnel".
Kyocera also wants to grow further in the DMS and ECM sector: With the KYOCERA Workflow Manger, Kyocera offers a DMS solution that is specifically aimed at small and medium-sized companies and is characterised by fast implementation and high scalability. An approach that has already established itself, as Stephen Schienbein explains. "Especially the DMS area shows the success of our strategy. We were able to increase our sales here by over 70 percent compared to the same period last year". The KYOCERA Workflow Manager was developed in cooperation with Ceyoniq GmbH. Since 2016, Ceyoniq has been part of the Kyocera Group and demonstrates how cooperation within the group can be successful.
