5,000 masks donated for Stuttgart school children

PKF WULF & PARTNER and PKF Titans basketball players supply Stuttgart schools with masks
The regional league basketball players of PKF Titans Stuttgart are active despite the corona break: Together with their name sponsor PKF WULF & PARTNER, they support the surrounding schools with everyday masks.

Actually, the PKF Titans, the basketball department of TuS Stuttgart, wanted to have their last games at this time of year and start preparations for a basketball school league and also continue working on the project, a team for the NBBL, the German Basketball League for young players. Now the situation is different: Both the training and the games for the children, the youth and the adults have been suspended for two months. Together with PKF WULF & PARTNER the PKF Titans have started the project "School Kids Mask" and want to provide the schools in Stuttgart with everyday masks so that the children have the possibility to participate in lessons in a protected way, especially if the minimum distance cannot be kept.
"We are aware of the great difficulties involved in opening up the schools," explains Martin Wulf, founder and managing director of PKF WULF & PARTNER. "Therefore we would like to offer help. When selecting the masks, it was important to us that they have a shape that makes it easier for the children to wear and breathe. We found an ideal mask shape for the children, which was developed by Wurzel Mediengruppe from Esslingen especially for easier breathing. The masks are dimensionally stable and thus have more room for air balance. They are available with colourful motifs and above all in small and medium sizes. This innovative type of mask appealed to us immediately and we ordered the first 5,000 masks without delay. Colours, motifs and wearing comfort will motivate children to wear the everyday masks," says Martin Wulf.
The donation of the masks has opened doors at the Stuttgart schools. Headmistress Petra Wagner from the Wagenburg High School in Stuttgart is enthusiastic: "This support comes at just the right time! At Wagenburg-Gymnasium alone, 525 pupils and 59 teachers had to be equipped with masks in the appropriate sizes without further ado".
