New name, new logo, wider range of services.
Since July of this year, ComPlott Papier Union GmbH has been operating under the name Inapa ComPlott GmbH.
The background to this name change is the takeover of German paper wholesaler Papyrus Deutschland and its merger with Papier Union GmbH by the Inapa Group. Since the beginning of July, the two paper wholesalers have been operating on the market as a single company under the name "Inapa Deutschland GmbH".
In addition to the change of name and company logo, a lot has happened at Inapa ComPlott in recent months - despite the Corona-related restrictions.
After ComPlott entered into a partnership with EFI at the end of last year to sell the industrial VUTEk large format printing systems, the first demo system, the EFI™ VUTEk® 32h, was installed in the Mettmanner demo centre in June.
The 3.20 metre wide hybrid printer is equipped with 8 colours + white and the EFI UltraDrop™ technology also allows variable drop sizes down to only 7 picolitres - the print results are simply impressive, whether produced on roll material or rigid media.
The EFI VUTEk 32h also convinces with its ease of use combined with high productivity and extremely low production costs.
In April 2020, ComPlott also signed an agreement with Canon for the distribution of the increasingly popular Colorado UV gel printing systems.
The flagship of the series, the Canon Colorado 1650, was installed in the Mettmann demo room in May and is now available for product demonstrations just like the EFI VUTEk 32h.
With reliable production speeds of 40m² and more, combined with very low ink consumption and extremely high scratch resistance, the Canon Colorado rounds off the existing hardware range of Inapa ComPlott GmbH in the class up to 164 cm print width.
The demo rooms of the branches in Reinbek, Frankfurt and Markt Schwaben can also be visited by prior appointment. In addition, customers from the south of Germany can now enjoy the benefits of another demo room in Freystadt (near Nuremberg).
