Canon receives a total of six prestigious awards from the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). In addition to mirrorless and SLR cameras, several lenses have also received awards. Despite this year's unprecedented challenges, Canon has maintained its commitment by introducing innovative products that open up new opportunities for photographers and filmmakers.
The Canon EOS R5 sets new standards in the professional SLR segment and has received awards from international photojournalists.
Canon received the prestigious EISA Camera Innovation Award for the mirrorless EOS R5. The Canon EOS-1D X Mark III also received the EISA Professional Camera Award. The SLR enjoys a unique reputation among professional photographers worldwide. Furthermore, the popular EOS 90D was able to take home the EISA APS-C Camera Award. Further awards went to four Canon RF lenses. Despite their compact dimensions, the new, lightweight models impress with sophisticated technology and excellent image quality. The EISA awarded the RF 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM, the RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM, the RF 600mm F11 IS STM and the RF 800mm F11 IS STM.
The awards reflect Canon's long experience in providing optical excellence, driven by its commitment to research and development. With each product, Canon demonstrates its continued support for both DSLR and mirrorless systems.

These announcements follow another major launch in January - the EOS-1D X Mark III, a highly anticipated camera for professional sports and wildlife photographers.
