Only last year, Pöppelmann GmbH & Co. KG received the renowned "Performer of the Year" supplier award from Schreiner Group for the best delivery performance. This year, the family-owned company was pleased to receive another award. Schreiner Group named Pöppelmann Supplier of the Year 2021.
This is the tenth time that Schreiner Group from Oberschleißheim near Munich has presented its Supplier of the Year award. In 2013, the high-tech company launched its "Preferred Supplier" programme, which annually honours suppliers who have distinguished themselves through reliability, quality and delivery reliability. This prize has now been awarded to Pöppelmann GmbH & Co. KG.
The family-owned company in the plastics processing industry has its headquarters in Lohne, Lower Saxony, and is active worldwide. It has been one of Schreiner Group's most important suppliers for many years. This long-standing and trusting cooperation was decisive for Schreiner Group in its decision to select Pöppelmann. "We had already worked very well together in 2020. This has improved again in many areas," says Sebastian Hofmaier from Schreiner Group's purchasing department. "Particularly worth mentioning are the high quality and overall delivery performance in a year that will be remembered for a general shortage of materials."
The award was presented personally by Managing Director Roland Schreiner to Pöppelmann's Sales Manager Michael Dultmeyer, Customer Dispatcher Stefanie Wördemann and Project Manager Thorsten Schneithorst. "We are delighted that we are still on such a successful path after years of working together," explains Thorsten Schneithorst. "The award is confirmation of our constant further development and shows us that high commitment pays off."
