Indonesian printing industry: Ferrostaal consolidates commitment

Ferrostaal's Graphic division in Indonesia is stepping out under new leadership and stepping up its commitment to the Indonesian printing industry, the number one growth market in the Asia-Pacific region. Tim Klappe will start work as head of graphics division of PT Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions Indonesia in the middle of February 2015.

Tim Klappe (50) has been working as a manager in the printing machine business in the Asia-Pacific region for over 20 years. Having held managerial posts at companies in the Heidelberg Group, manroland and Norde International Distributors, he will now strengthen the market position of the printing solutions business in his new role as head of graphics division at PT Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions Indonesia. "We will offer solutions to the Indonesian printing industry that support our customers regarding the dynamic growth and fast changing environment in the industry," says Tim Klappe, "and we will combine reputable brands on the equipment side with workflow solutions and reliable services that will be beneficial for our customers in this new era of the printing industry."
Ferrostaal is distribution partner to many manufacturers in Indonesia including Manugraph, Goss, Wohlenberg, Kolbus, Kodak, UVA and MGI. More agencies will be added to meet the new requirements in the printing industry. Supporting services, like financing, technical maintenance services, supplies and workflow solutions are all offered and can be adjusted to the customer's individual demands. PT Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions Indonesia runs facilities at three locations in the country.
With a growth rate of over 10 per cent per year, the Indonesian printing market is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. By 2017 the market is expected to be worth 9.1 billion US dollars according to research figures published by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).
