MARGARET RICE-JONES JOINS XAAR AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Xaar plc the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge, UK, announces the appointment of a Non-Executive Director.

Following the retirement of David Cheesman in May 2015, the Company is pleased to announce that Margaret Rice-Jones will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 1 August 2015. Margaret has extensive experience of managing complex international technology businesses, with over 25 years in senior leadership positions, including CEO of a $100 million turnover business and responsibility for a $1.25 billion turnover business as a Vice President at Motorola. Margaret has also had direct responsibility for operations and customer relationships in Asia, EMEA and North America and has led acquisitive growth strategies within multiple businesses.

Margaret has held Non-Executive Director roles with established PLCs and VC-backed e-commerce businesses since 2000, including Board positions on FTSE 100 and 250 companies. She is currently Chair of Skyscanner Ltd, where she also chairs the Remuneration and Audit committees, and is a Non-Executive Director of Openet Telecom Ltd.
