Scodix Adds Industry Veteran Mark Nixon to Head Up North American Operations

Scodix, the leader in digital enhancement solutions for the graphic arts industry, today announced the appointment of Mark Nixon as Vice President of Sales and General Manager, Scodix North America. Mr. Nixon will be responsible for sales, customer support, marketing and operations in both the American and Canadian markets, effective immediately.

"Scodix continues to grow and capture the North American market, one major service provider at a time, while increasing both mindshare and market share," said Mr. Roy Porat, CEO of Scodix. "This is clearly in evidence by the tremendous impact our solutions are having on our customers and their business. Adding a strong experienced individual with a successful track record, such as Mark Nixon's, to our growing professional team not only demonstrates our dedication to the marketplace's needs, but will further increase our access and penetration in the region."

About Mark Nixon

Mark has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 25 years of increasing sales, marketing and managerial responsibility with several of the industry's most prominent graphic arts and commercial printing leaders. Prior to joining Scodix, he held executive management positions with Dupont, Scitex, Creo, and KBA. More recently, he was the founder and owner of Conversion UK Ltd, a firm that specialized in marketing and supporting value-add offerings of the highest degree, amongst them Scodix. His experience and understanding of Scodix makes the transition eloquent.

"In my career, I've had the good fortune to work with many of the industry's most successful players," notes Nixon. "In most cases, the difference between gaining market acceptance and dropping off the map is often your audience's perception, and not reality. Scodix has already earned industry mindshare as the producer of true value-add innovation that elevates commercial printers and converters via both revenues and marketing differentiation. I am excited about engaging the North American PSPs and showing them how putting Scodix on top will put them on top."
