Siegwerk Announces Changes in Management Board Responsibility for Asia and Americas Regions

With the recent changes to the Management Board, Siegwerk will create synergies between the regions to drive business success and strengthen its product offering and services to customers in the packaging and printing markets worldwide.

Siegwerk, one of the world's leading suppliers of printing inks for packaging and labels, has changed the Executive Board's responsibilities for its business units. Herbert Forker, CEO and former President Canada, USA and Latin America at Siegwerk, has taken over responsibility for India, China and Southeast Asia from Ralf Hildenbrand, who in turn has taken over responsibility for North and South America from Herbert Forker. The organizational changes took effect on October 1, 2019.
Over the past ten years, Ralf Hildenbrand has developed a successful growth strategy for Asia and its sub-regions, leading Asia to its current outstanding performance, with dedicated teams serving customers with leading solutions and services. Given the strategic importance of Asia, it is obvious that these regions, which are now maturing, should report directly to the CEO, while at the same time drawing on Ralf Hildenbrand's experience in business and organizational development for North and South America.
By bringing together Canada, the USA and Latin America under one roof as the "Americas" region, Siegwerk is promoting the future exchange of experience throughout the entire region.
Ralf Hildenbrand will continue to be responsible for the global development of Flexible Packaging in his role as Global Flexible Packaging Business Unit Coordinator as well as being responsible for the Global Technology Team and the Brand Owner Collaboration, where he will drive forward the topics of sustainability, recycling management, product safety and cooperation with branded companies.
The responsibilities of the other Executive Board members Dr. Oliver Wittmann (CFO) and Dr. Jan Breitkopf (President EMEA) remain unchanged.
The organizational changes mentioned will help Siegwerk to offer its customers secure and efficient performance and make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of digital and closed-loop packaging solutions.
