Dr. Sascha Lafeld, founder of First Climate, the digital marketing expert Sven Wiechert and the sustainability manager of Tier Mobility, Björn Bröskamp, join ClimatePartner.
ClimatePartner, the international provider of climate protection solutions for companies, is expanding its structures and teams. Among the ten newcomers who came on board in September alone are Dr. Sascha Lafeld, Sven Wiechert and Björn Bröskamp are three top-class industry experts with almost 50 years of experience. You will advance the further development of the range of solutions relating to holistic climate protection and increase general visibility. With ongoing investments in capacities, resources and know-how, ClimatePartner underlines its pioneering position in the market, which the company has played a key role in since 2006.
Dr. Sascha Lafeld has been working in the field of solution development for climate neutrality and green energy for almost 20 years. In the early 2000s, he founded First Climate, a service provider in the field of emissions trading and carbon offset projects. In addition to supporting national and international companies in climate protection, he played a key role in the work on international quality standards for voluntary CO2 compensation. He will bring this expertise to ClimatePartner in his role as Head of Carbon Offsetting and Green Energy Services. The focus is on the areas for green energy procurement for corporate customers, green products for energy suppliers and the further development of CO2 compensation projects.
Sven Wiechert has 20 years of experience in the digital and marketing sector, where he was responsible for brand management in the digital sector for the NIVEA brand worldwide and for numerous L’ORÉAL brands in Germany. Most recently he was the founder and managing director of an e-commerce start-up. There he built up the Lieblingstasche retail brand until the online shop was sold. As Head of Marketing at ClimatePartner, Sven Wiechert will significantly increase brand awareness in the B2B area and support sales with qualified leads. The first focus measures include the development of a strategic storytelling around "climate action" including the further development of the visual language and the expansion of the company's own digital channels.
Björn Bröskamp joins ClimatePartner from Tier Mobility, where he was responsible for sustainability management and, together with ClimatePartner, led the micromobility startup to climate neutrality. Before that, the business chemist was involved in the specialty chemicals group Evonik's sustainability strategies, including life cycle assessments. Björn Bröskamp strengthens the Business Development Team in Berlin at ClimatePartner. The focus is on the further development of the methodological basis of the ClimatePartner solution, both with regard to the internationalization of the solution offer and the adaptation to industry-specific requirements.
