Toray Graphics in the Czech Republic, a leading manufacturer of waterless offset plate technologies, today announced the Mr. Mitsunori Hayashi, who has led the Toray Graphics Division in the EMEA region and the Americas from the company’s Czech Republic location, will be returning to Japan to take responsibility for Toray’s Waterless business in the Asian and Oceanian markets as well as managing some global waterless projects. Mr. Hayashi led the Graphics Division in EMEA and the Americas for 8 years, successfully helping to grow the company’s waterless business in those regions and to continue the company’s efforts to educate the market on the value of waterless offset printing.
With Mr. Hayashi’s departure, the Toray Graphics Division in EMEA and the Americas has announced a new management structure:
Mr. Kaoru Ueda (previously Associate Director at TTCE in the Czech Republic) has taken on the position of Director for the Toray Graphics Division at Toray Textiles Central Europe in the Czech Republic.
Mr. Junichi lshii (previously Torelief – Photopolymer Printing plate; Sales Manager at Toray headquarters in Japan) returned to the Czech Republic in March to take on the position of Associate Director, responsible for the Toray Graphics Division Sales & Marketing Department at Toray Textiles Central Europe.
“While I am looking forward to the challenges of my new position at Toray headquarters in Japan, I will miss working closely with my colleagues and customers, with whom I have had an open, constructive and trustworthy relationship during my tenure in the Czech Republic,” Mr. Hayashi said. “It has been my great pleasure to be associated with the successful and dynamic team there and to get to know personally so many Toray customers. My only regret is the inability to thank many of them face to face prior to my departure due to the constraints of the pandemic, but I know that the waterless offset community, including both staff and customers, will continue to work tirelessly to promote the value of waterless offset printing to the industry. Both Mr. Ueda and Mr. Ishii are well qualified to lead this ongoing effort, and I wish them the best for an exciting and profitable future.”
