Kernow Coatings appoints Arnoud Mekenkamp as Channel Manager for Europe and Asia
Kernow Coatings, a leading manufacturer of OEM-certified printable digital synthetic papers, has appointed Arnoud Mekenkamp as Channel Manager with effect from 01 December. As Sales Manager for Europe and Asia, his role is to define and implement the company's strategy to increase European and Asian sales of wide and narrow format materials.
He will focus on the management and development of the wide and narrow format sales network in Asia, as well as on international business development in other potential business areas.
Arnoud Mekenkamp has a track record of over thirty years in sales and management. He has experience in large format print media commercialisation, production, sales, marketing and distribution, and extensive expertise in Asian business from previous sales roles with well-known companies such as ILFORD and Neschen & Heytex.
Arnoud was responsible for the successful transition of combining and coordinating the legendary photographic media brand ILFORD with paper pioneer and proo ng media market leader Tecco. After being appointed Managing Director of the companies in April 2014, Arnoud achieved his task of consolidation in just five years. He then returned to Heytex, where he successfully drove the development of innovative products for future applications and markets. He has held senior positions at well-known companies in the grey industry, most recently as Managing Director at ILFORD/Tecco and Business Development Manager at Heytex.
Arnoud was born in Haarlem in 1968. He lives in Vriezenveen, the Netherlands, with his wife Simone and daughters Isa, Mies and Puck.
