Markus Unterstein will take over the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the CHIRON Group on 1 May 2023, thus completing the management team of the globally positioned group of companies with headquarters in Tuttlingen.

Markus Unterstein graduated in management business administration from the Academy of Administration and Economics in Munich. He now closes the circle of the CHIRON Group management, which in future will consist of Carsten Liske CEO, Markus Unterstein CFO, Bernd Hilgarth CSO and Dr Claus Eppler CTO.

With almost 20 years of professional experience as a commercial manager, Markus Unterstein brings with him the necessary tools for his future role in the CHIRON Group: In 2006, he started his career as CFO at KRAIBURG TPE. In 2012, he moved to HAWE Hydraulik SE and successfully led this company as CFO for almost 11 years until he took up his new position at CHIRON Group SE in May 2023.

Upon joining CHIRON Group SE, Markus Unterstein will head the commercial department with the areas of finance, human resources, information technology and controlling. In addition, he is responsible for the CMS business unit and the branch office in Schlierbach.
