Nanomaterial Processes Scientist Dr. Krishna Kowlgi Joins Quantum Materials Corp

Quantum Materials Corp (OTCQB:QTMM) today announced that Dr. Krishna Kowlgi has joined the Company as Nanomaterials Process Engineer. Dr. Kowlgi is an experienced entrepreneurial scientist specializing in analytical and physical chemistry with inventions and commercialized technologies in catalysts, engineered chemicals, colloids, fuel cells, material sciences, nanotechnologies, polymers and self-assembly.

"We are fortunate to have Krishna on board," said Quantum Materials Corp Founder and CEO Stephen Squires.  "His expertise in quantum dot synthesis and scaling-up advanced materials production will be crucial as we continue to expand our specialized quantum dot manufacturing capabilities."

Prior to joining Quantum Materials, Dr. Kowlgi was a Research Engineer at Xelvin Zuid BV, driving the synthesis of semiconductor quantum dots in continuous-flow reactors. Prior to Xelvin, Dr. Kowlgi served as Director of Technology at Minus9 BV, scaling up production of carbon nanonetworks via fixed-bed chemical vapor deposition, drastically reducing costs; engineered synthesized polymers with enhanced electrical conductivity, mechanical strength and thermal conductivity; created electrically conductive aerospace coatings, high capacity hydrogen storage cell electrodes, light emitting diodes with improved heat dissipation, high thermally conductive satellite solar panels and more efficient water filters. Dr. Kowlgi earned a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, a Master of Science in Applied Polymer Science from Martin Luther University, Germany and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Technology from Delhi Technological University in India.

Quantum Materials Honored by the Greater San Marcos Partnership for its Economic Development Potential

Quantum Materials Corp was honored by the Greater San Marcos Partnership on November 5th with their 2nd Annual Burdick Award at the GSM Innovation Summit honoring businesses using technology in new and innovative ways to make the Austin-San Antonio corridor a hub of technological and business growth. Quantum Materials' Vice President of Research and Development, David Doderer, accepted the award. "We appreciate the recognition of our business community and are honored to be included among the group of businesses nominated for the Burdick Award. We are committed to our community and will continue to strive to bring new technological and business opportunity to our region." Quantum Materials recently announced that it has signed an agreement with STAR Park that will quadruple the Company's Quantum Dot production space and is recruiting to double its scientific staff.
