NEWSCYCLE Solutions announces new vice presidents for hosting and for the Asia-Pacific division

Newscycle's Australian office focuses on customer support and growth in the APAC region

NEWSCYCLE Solutions is expanding its global hosting operations, as well as its business presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market to better serve and support its growing customer base in the region.

Paul Schofield was appointed as vice president of customer operations for the APAC region based in Sydney, Australia. In addition, Bob Mason was named global vice president of hosting. Both will report to chief operations officer, Scott Roessler.

Mason will lead the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) team with a focus on advancing the company's cloud services platform and strategies. He joins Newscycle from Digital First Media where he served as chief technology officer. As CTO, Mason managed the strategic direction of the media group's products and services, developed tactical architecture strategies and directed all phases of its operations.

As vice president of customer operations, Schofield will be responsible for the day-to-day service and support of existing Newscycle customers in the Asia-Pacific region, and in conjunction with the sales team, recognize opportunities in the Asia-Pacific marketplace. He will also manage Newscycle's Malaysian Development Center, and the existing Newscycle support and services teams in Singapore. Schofield joined Newscycle in 2013 from Atex, Inc. where he served as vice president of audience development. Most recently, Schofield was responsible for the development and support of Newscycle's audience software.
