Alcoa (NYSE: AA) today announced that Glenn Miller has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of its Global Rolled Products (GRP) business effective May 1. He succeeds Judy Schrecker who will retire from Alcoa after 34 years of service. Miller will be responsible for managing all aspects of the global GRP financial and information technology organizations.

Miller will also serve on Alcoa's Executive Council, the senior leadership team that sets strategic direction for the Company.

Lynn Blodgett to retire at the end of 2014

Xerox (NYSE: XRX) announced today the appointment of Robert Zapfel as president, Xerox Services and an executive vice president of the corporation reporting to Xerox Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ursula Burns. He will join the company on April 1 and will succeed Lynn Blodgett, who will retire at the end of 2014. Blodgett will continue with the company as a corporate executive vice president assisting in a seamless transition to Zapfel.

The paperboard manufacturer Iggesund Paperboard, part of the Holmen forest products group, is undergoing changes on several levels. Last autumn the company gained a new CEO, Annica Bresky.

A university graduate in engineering, Bresky has roots in both Greece and the rural heart of Sweden's Småland province. She was previously CEO of BillerudKorsnäs Karlsborg AB and before that she worked as production manager for Stora Enso Kvarnsveden's most modern paper machine. When she took over the reins at Iggesund in October, the top positions of both of the company's board mills were vacant, as was the position of company financial director. She has therefore had unique opportunities to shape a new management team that reflects the dynamism she wants to see within the organisation.
