Fuji Xerox unveils iGen4 Press Diamond edition in PPI 2013

Koji Tezuka, President of Fuji Xerox (Thailand) Co., Ltd disclosed the Thai printing industry is highly-competitive. In the nation where offset printing is declining, digital technology comes in for an important role. Customers' requirements are now changing from volume printing to "Print for Pay" with a 24hours service guarantee. This also places marketing on a crucial position for companies to catch up.

Tezuka notes, "Our participation in Pack Print International 2013 presents a good opportunity for entrepreneurs to adopt new printing technologies to drive their business growth and enhance their competitiveness in printing industry at domestic and international levels."

He adds it is Fuji Xerox (Thailand)'s fourth time at the show. "With our concept 'Design your customers, produce more jobs, reduce your costs and grow your business' we support our customers with printing solution for effective management, cost reduction, profitability including new marketing strategies such as personalised and security printing," Tezuka highlights.

altThe products showcased include the Color C75 press and the Color J75 press (recently launched in Singapore). Both are currently selling well in the market. The Fuji Xerox 1400 Inkjet Color offers ultra high printing speed at 1,312 pages per minute; the Color 1000 offers printing performance for production systems with varnishing process in one step; the Xerox iGen4 Press Diamond edition launched in Thailand is currently enjoying good response in Europe, United States of America and Asia. There are currently 2200 units installed worldwide.

Pichai Thanyawacharakul, Production System Business Director of Fuji Xerox (Thailand) Co., Ltd said, "The iGen4 Press Diamond edition produces high quality prints which are equivalent to offset printing with Matte Dry Ink. The printing speed is 110 ppm. The maximum paper weight is 350gsm. Supporting print materials size of 14.33" x 26" which is the biggest size comparing with the same product levels in the market.

"Additionally, Auto Density Control System supports the inspection for colour intensity control for stabilising high quality printing as well as reducing processing time with the genius auto-control system which is advantageous and saves costs for businesses."
