Baker & Taylor Partners with Cricket Media to Provide Children's Content in KnowledgePoint

- Schools gain access to award-winning portfolio of educational articles and texts -

Baker & Taylor, the premier worldwide distributor of digital and print books and entertainment products, has announced a content agreement with Cricket Media. Under the new partnership, education media and social learning company Cricket Media will supply Baker & Taylor with content from across its portfolio of acclaimed children's magazines and K-12 multimedia offerings.

Schools using Baker & Taylor's K-12 digital education platform, KnowledgePoint, will now be able to order selections from Cricket Media's rich content library including articles and texts from Cricket's children's publications Ladybug, Cricket, Cobblestone, Odyssey, Appleseeds and Ask. School administrators, teachers and students can read the articles as PDFs on computers, tablets or mobile devices.

In addition to the articles and texts, KnowledgePoint offers tailored assessments and learning support scaffolds around select Cricket Media articles, so teachers can leverage the magazine content in the classroom. Questions are embedded throughout the text to provide real-time actionable data as students read to show performance and improvement trends.
