Contiweb Confirms South American Partnership with CINNX

Contiweb, a specialist in state-of-the-art technologies for printing, advanced drying and web-handling, today announces that it has appointed CINNX, a supplier of print enhancements and services, as its South American sales partner.

Following Contiweb’s independence last year, CINNX remains the sole distributor in the region for the company and builds on a 21-year partnership.
According to Marcos Maricate, Sales Agent at CINNX, the long-standing collaboration provides customers with consistency and high-quality service. He explains: “Our customers purchase systems based on excellent long-term productivity. Our alliance with Contiweb ensures that we can provide businesses with innovative solutions and market-leading support that maximize the lifespan of each press.”
The announcement sees CINNX remain responsible for the sale of hardware, services and spare parts, this includes the Contiweb Fluid Applicator (CFA). Designed to overcome the high costs associated with ready-made silicone emulsions, the CFA reduces silicone consumption, allowing print providers to increase profit margins and sharpen their competitive edge. CINNX will also focus on the growing adoption of Contiweb’s flagship Thallo hybrid web offset printer within the region.
The Contiweb Thallo dramatically slashes time-consuming job changeovers and benefits from the speed of offset plate production, making it an ideal solution to produce short runs, quickly and profitably. It is also equipped with an advanced web tension control system, enabling businesses to print on paper and cardboard as well as stretchy substrates. This opens the door to a wider array of applications including in-mould labels, wrap around labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging for food and non-food.
Maricate explains: “Besides being the market leader of splicers and dryers, Contiweb continues to expand its portfolio with market-leading solutions. We are excited to support our customers seeking to diversify their business and enter the label and packaging markets.
“The Contiweb Thallo blends production efficiency with high quality output. We are extremely excited about the business potential achievable with the Contiweb Thallo and look forward to selling our first system in South America,” he concludes.
