DPG Media The Hague “goes” Closed-loop with Q.I. Press Controls

DPG Media gave the order to automate their 6 tower KBA Commander press at their facility in The Hague, The Netherlands, with the full automation package of Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC), the specialist for measurement and control systems for the printing industry. With this order all three Dutch print facilities of DPG Media will be fully automated by QIPC’s solutions.

DPG Media, the largest media company in The Netherlands with a portfolio of strong national, regional and local titles, is known for its high quality standards in printing. Results at both their Amsterdam and Best print facilities with respect to quality improvement and manning/waste reduction made the choice for QIPC an obvious one.
“An extension of the press automation was essential to continue our printing operations in The Hague,” indicates Ruud de Klerk, Director of DPG Media. “Not only to secure overall quality standards but also to improve our efficiency. We are using QIPC automation since 2007 so we know what to expect in terms of results. The corporation with QIPC has always been to our satisfaction. A true partner that simply meets expectations by delivering what was promised.”
“The Amsterdam and Best projects were huge success for all parties, as we proved the capabilities of our equipment on multiple platforms,” says Erwin van Rossem, Director of Global Sales & Marketing QIPC. “We are very pleased being awarded with this project since it definitely confirms DPG Media’s high level of satisfaction, the best compliment we can get”.
