Unique - and unique digital: "Inspiration@Work 2019" a complete success

Uniquely digital: this was the motto of this year's industry get-together, to which Papier Union and its partners invited on 3 September in Hamburg. Almost 400 guests from agencies, industrial companies, print service providers and factories met for the eighth time at the Trabrennbahn in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld to exchange new ideas about (digital) printing.

In short presentations, the speakers showed the way from the product idea through geo and cross media campaigns to print production and finishing. In addition, visitors were able to learn how the combination of print with current augmented or virtual reality technologies can create added value. At the same time, experts from all areas of digital print production and further processing took time for personal exchange in the exhibition area.
The colourful supporting programme offered many opportunities for networking. Thanks to Konica Minolta / ITA, the guests were able to challenge My Linh Tran, reigning table football world champion, at the table. At FKS / Grunewald, a personalized glass of honey sweetened the day for the guests and the "Magic Mirror", which made beautiful souvenir photos that could be printed out live and taken away directly, provided a lot of fun. At Viva con Agua, the artist Josephine Sagna created a live artwork that was auctioned at a charity auction. A total sum of 2,850 euros was handed over to Viva con Agua, which will go directly into the association's project work.
In addition, the Edelmeister Award of the Fachverband Medienproduktion f:mp. was also presented this year. From 34 high-quality and creative exhibits, the best productions were awarded by the expert jury.
In the evening Lotto King Karl as musical surprise guest provided a festive atmosphere. He entertained the audience with his fresh Nordic style and sang his most famous songs. The crowning finale was the professional trotting in the evening, which the guests were even able to experience up close from the accompanying bus.
"Also this year the event would not have been possible without a fantastic teamwork. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the hard-working trainees and the colleagues present for their support and commitment - and of course to all our partners, exhibitors and guests for this inspiring day," said Sven Bartels and Chrisula Siskou, who form the digital printing team at Papier Union and who organise the Inspiration@work industry event every year.
