For Accor, the Antalis Interior Design Award is an opportunity to "stand out

Antalis, Europe's leading provider of paper and visual communication solutions, has launched the next edition of the Antalis Interior Design Awards (AIDA). First launched in 2017, the competition recognizes the design of unique and personalized spaces created by talented creative professionals around the world.

Until 31 January 2020, interior designers, architects, printers, brand owners and design schools are invited to submit their favourite projects in the seven categories of the competition: "Hospitality", "Retail", "Office", "Home" and "Public buildings", as well as "Textile products" or "Architectural films". There are no limits to creativity. The only requirement: at least one product from the extensive Antalis Visual Communication catalogue must be integrated.
Fernand Benmouffek, Global Design Director at Accor, is part of this year's AIDA jury. As head of design project management for the international hotel group, Benmouffek works with international agencies to find the most creative ideas that meet the client's needs: "It is definitely possible to draw inspiration from the Antalis Interior Design Award. The choice of production, the specific characteristics of the various brands used are elements that allow us to identify creative developments and future trends in the interior design sector".
More than a passing trend, personalization is a fundamental movement
On the subject of personalization, Fernand Benmouffek says: "Customers are looking for individuality, unique spaces, and all this within a reasonable budget. To overcome this obstacle, it is essential for a designer to play with the rules, to use his imagination and creativity to create a project that stands out from the crowd".
The competition not only shows future trends, but also the talents of the future: "Winning a competition is a stepping stone for your career. For students, it means being visible to market participants and the opportunity to work with major brands".
