Despite the lockdown that saw many 'turn off their engines' temporarily, the Specialities' Specialist has actually been 'pushing down on the accelerator', always remaining alongside its customers, but also giving life to new initiatives dedicated to the world of visual communication.
First of all, we have given space to training. In fact, Guandong continues to be close to customers and partners with a daily appointment inspired by what many consider a sacred rite and which has been forcedly put on stand-by in these past weeks: the coffee break as an opportunity for exchange and socialization. Hence, the idea of a series of webinars entitled "A Coffee with Guandong". A true interactive training session lasting about 20 minutes, during which the management and technicians of the team present a product from our vast catalogue, exploring its uses, exchanging information, advice and directly confronting operators regarding the various application possibilities. The webinars are online from Monday to Friday at 2:00 pm. Furthermore, at the end of the sessions, the videos are posted to Guandong's YouTube channel, where they are always available for streaming, also for foreign users thanks to the subtitles available in all languages just a few hours after the live event. The collection of these webinars is giving rise to a true video-encyclopaedia, which, in the future, may also be able to represent a very useful updating tool intended to be shared with customers and prospects.
Guandong has also put its innovative spirit at the service of the health emergency, with the creation of a range of printing materials intended for the production of protective devices and useful tools in this period of crisis, selected in collaboration with customers and partners. These solutions will prove to be even more indispensable in view of the imminent Phase 2, which will see the progressive reopening of production activities, for which the guarantee of adequate safety measures will be necessary. Therefore, among the supports proposed by Guandong for individual protection, are transparent PET and PVC sheets for the production of protective visors, together with polyester rolls featuring a TNT liner and an all-in-one fabric from the new Naomi line, suitable for the realisation of disposable masks. Also, we offer walkable films for floor graphics, which may be used as spacers for lines in shops and offices that are open to the public, in addition to the classic magnetic supports or glue-free adhesives from the Wally with Nano-Dots range, used for the customisation of emergency vehicles. A complete catalogue, which also features useful accessories for attaching the masks and for the quick change of filters, including our new TWO TACK® OPTI-CLEAR, a double-sided universal stick&detach tape featuring Nano-Tack technology developed by our own R&D department.
