Hahnemühle goes digital

The current situation remains critical due to the ongoing global Covid 19 pandemic. As a result, many trade fairs and photo festivals are cancelled and cultural institutions and exhibitions are closed.

In recent months Hahnemühle has already found new ways to stay connected to its community, e.g. through Instagram Live Formats (IGTVs), Facebook Live Sessions or Zoom webinars. "We have increased our activities and interactions on our social media platforms by exchanging creative ideas, sharing tips and tricks or creating challenges. Currently we have an October Drawing Challenge on our Traditional FineArt Instagram @hahnemuehle_global, while we celebrated the 'Hahnemühle Photography Month' in August on our Digital FineArt Instagram channel @hahnemuehle_imaging", says Ann Kristin Nohlen, Director Marketing.
Hahnemühle has a long history of trade shows to maintain personal contact with customers or to launch new products. For this reason, Papiermanufaktur Messen rethinks trade fairs and finds innovative ways to stay in touch with dealers and customers in more than 120 countries around the world. It is important to Hahnemühle to bring art closer to people.
The Hahnemühle virtual gallery
An online gallery that brings a piece of the Hahnemühle feeling and the world of Hahnemühle Digital FineArt papers into your home. It is a big step to bring what is probably the most analogue product into the digital world.
The Hahnemühle Virtual Gallery has seven different rooms which are all connected to each other. Each of them is assigned to a paper family from the Digital FineArt Collection or the Hahnemühle Photo Line. One room shows the respective sample prints as large gallery images and detailed surface close-ups. Each picture, product or video can be clicked interactively to learn more about it. For more information on available formats or purchase options, visitors to the virtual gallery follow the integrated link to the Hahnemühle homepage.
Product innovations, current events and brochures are presented in the reception area. Each brochure can be browsed and downloaded. A large video screen offers photographers or Hahnemühle Certified Studios a platform to present their work and art.
Just in time for PhotoPlus+
Hahnemühle will open the doors of its virtual gallery on 30 October 2020 - just in time for PhotoPlus+. PhotoPlus+ is a 365 day digital online event and network for everyone interested in photography, film and print. Hahnemühle is an active part of this digital alternative to the traditional Photo Plus Expo in New York. Hahnemühle's USA team is in charge of the digital exhibition and is looking forward to exciting live talks and networking opportunities. Registration is free of charge. The brand new Hahnemühle Virtual Gallery can be accessed via the Hahnemühle stand at PhotoPlus+. "We look forward to meeting our customers there and hearing your feedback. In the future we will use other virtual platforms to intensify our networking and exchange with partners, customers and friends", emphasizes Ann Kristin Nohlen from Hahnemühle and assures: "This is just the beginning".
