Brett Martin will be exhibiting its range of plastic sheet solutions at Printing United Expo (19th – 21st October) on stand C9046, Central Hall, Las Vegas Convention Centre. In line with their theme of ‘products that work’, Brett Martin will be presenting solutions which fall under three categories: Products that work for customers, products that work for the future and products that work for new technologies.
Products that work for customers
Brett Martin will be exhibiting its established Foamalux range, including Foamalux White, Foamalux Colour, Foamalux Ultra, Foamalux Xtra, and Foamalux Eco. As one of the world’s leading and most extensive brands of foam PVC sheet, Foamalux has earned itself a deserved reputation for quality and performance in signage, display and print.
The company also has one of the most extensive transparent sheet offerings available. The range on display includes Marcryl FS extruded acrylic sheet, Marpet-g FS PETg, Marpet-a FS aPET and Marlon FS polycarbonate flat sheet. Offering strength, durability, and visual clarity, they provide the ideal solution for a variety of products in the print and display market, from point of purchase displays, to illuminated signage, poster covers, light boxes, leaflet holders and more.
Products that work for the future
Brett Martin’s recently launched Marlon BioPlus will be on display, demonstrating a significant step towards a carbon neutral polycarbonate (PC) sheet. This innovative PC sheet offers dramatically reduced environmental impact by switching from fossil-based resins to resins certified as 71% bio-circular through a mass balancing manufacturing process.
Additionally, the company’s Eco range of products – including Foamalux Eco, Foamalux Xtra, Marpet-g FS Eco, Marcryl FS Eco – will be on the stand. The range reduces waste to landfill by reusing Brett Martin’s own production waste in the manufacturing process.
Manufactured from up to 80% recycled content recovered from production and post-consumer signage waste, Foamalux Xtra is Brett Martin’s answer to green substrate alternatives. It comprises a reclaimed black core, sandwiched between one or two surfaces of premium quality, virgin white PVC, providing the optimum surface for signage and display printing and will be showcased at Printing United.
All Brett Martin products are suitable for medium to long-term use and can be recycled at end of life through mechanical, chemical or energy recovery methods.
Additionally, the company’s 6.42MWp solar installation feeds directly into its manufacturing site, whilst its on-site 325ft wind turbine, generating 2.3MWp ensures a reliable year-round supply of renewable energy, particularly productive in the winter months, when the solar farm is least active. The amount of carbon emission saved by these dedicated sources of renewable energy is equal to almost 2000 US short tons per annum.
Products that work for new technologies
Brett Martin works closely with a number of respected printing, cutting and thermoforming machine manufacturers to test and showcase the printing, routering and forming capabilities of its semi-finished product portfolio. At Printing United, Brett Martin will be collaborating with approved partners, EFI, HP and Colex. They will be processing Brett Martin’s products on their stands, demonstrating how they work with their own equipment.
