Roland DG to offer new solutions for short-run and on-demand production at Labelexpo Europe 2019

Roland DG Corporation announced today that they are looking forward to joining the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Labelexpo Europe in Brussels, where they will be presenting their latest line of versatile solutions.

“The event’s new slogan ‘Move Your Business Forward’ also perfectly fits our objectives,” says Satoko Yoshida, Digital Printing Marketing Manager at Roland DG Corporation. “We will showcase a diverse range of live applications, focusing on short-run, on-demand label production and finishing, and including versioning and customization.”

According to Yoshida, digital printing is of growing importance to the label market as customer demand shifts towards ever-smaller print runs and a growing variety of personalization and customization that requires ever-shorter time to market. “Our complete solutions of hardware, software and inks offer great advantages in this respect, as many label printers are experiencing this need today,” explains Yoshida. “For example, combining printing and cutting into one production system makes our solutions ideally suited for labels and similar applications. This is one of the key drivers for this market and Roland DG is perfectly positioned to answer this need.”

Roland DG has been a regular exhibitor at Labelexpo for many years now. “We consider Labelexpo Europe a particularly important and motivating show, as it offers us the opportunity to reach a global audience,” Yoshida says. “We come to Brussels not only to address European label printers, but also to capture the US and Asian markets. We see a real growth opportunity to be explored and Labelexpo is the perfect setting for it.”

Yoshida mentions that more details on the Roland DG solutions and applications to be exhibited will be shared in the run-up to the event. “Don’t miss our latest news and be sure to visit Roland DG at Labelexpo Europe (24 – 27 September 2019) at booth 9C16,” Yoshida adds.
