Martin Peroutka introduces the first HP Indigo Digital Pouch Factory in Europe

The new production line enables to produce digitally-printed pouches in the most fast, efficient and profitable way

Czech Republic-based label converting company, Martin Peroutka, has expanded its production line with the installation of Karlville’s Pack Ready Lamination for HP Indigo and the KS-DSUP-400 Pouch making machine. Martin Peroutka, which added an HP Indigo 20000 into their production line in 2018, has now an entire ecosystem to produce digitally printed pouches and roll stocks in less than 3 day instead of weeks.
Martin Peroutka opened in 1991, specialising in the printing of self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves and packaging foils. Overtime, the company has progressed with new technologies, guaranteed quality and expanded its offering, making it one of the most trusted printing houses in the region.
With sustainability at the forefront of conversation, the Flexible Packaging market is evolving to meet low waste requirements without compromising on quality or efficiency. As a printing house characterized by high quality, speed and flexibility with a mission to reduce the impact it has on the environment, Martin Peroutka saw the HP Indigo 20000 as the ideal solution as it eliminates the need for plates or unnecessary inventory.
“We are very proud on delivering excellent results and allowing for creativity freedom while not compromising on the sustainability values” said Roman Kandler, Executive Director, Martin Peroutka. “We were looking for ways to grow in a competitive market and we found that the HP Indigo Digital Pouch Factory concept allows us to add a complete production line for Flexible Packaging with a minimal footprint, taking into account the full product lifecycle, supply chain and end of life.”
The HP Indigo 20000 opens a realm of possibilities for the packaging industry by enabling businesses to efficiently and profitably cope with changing market demands for shorter runs, more varied SKUs, and customised campaigns whilst reducing the environmental impact of its manufacturing, especially for label converters seeking for new business opportunities in attractive markets such as Flexible Packaging.
