SCREEN today announces that Etiquetas Adhesivas Rever (Rever), a member of the Docuworld Group, and a leading Spanish producer of self-adhesive labels, has purchased another Truepress Jet L350UV+ press, to increase capacity and meet demanding customer needs. This is the fourth SCREEN machine to be purchased by Docuworld Group and the first to fully utilise SCREEN’s ‘Blue Inks’.
According to Ricardo Sempere, Packaging and Label Group Manager, Docuworld, the company decided to invest in the Truepress Jet L350UV+ based on the company’s positive experience using SCREEN’s reliable and flexible solutions. He explains: “We have high confidence in SCREEN and in its current and future products and developments. As a result, we investigated how blue inks would allow us to achieve difficult colours such us reflex blue for demanding customers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and health and beauty industries.
“The ability to offer these incredible repeatable, precise and vivid colours, in combination with the industry leading speeds of up to 60 metres per minute, means investing in a further L350UV+ was the obvious choice to expand our equipment portfolio.”
The ability of the L350UV+ to handle additional blue inks in addition to conventional CMYK and white inks allows it to faithfully reproduce blue colours in corporate designs that were previously difficult to achieve using process colours alone. The inkjet label printer is also able to precisely output a wide range of blue tones frequently used on the packaging of items such as cosmetics, toiletries and body care products.
