Photo wallpaper manufacturer from Kolbermoor receives prestigious Walt Disney Quality Product Award
The world of Disney truly has something unique, something magical. The famous characters have shaped generations and have regularly made cinema what it should be: a place to dream, a place for fantasy, a place far from reality.
With the acquisition of the Walt Disney license, the photo wallpaper manufacturer Komar from Kolbermoor was able to set a real milestone in the more than 50 year old company history for 10 years. After all, the probably most famous license partner in the world was finally added to the portfolio. At the licensees' meeting, which this year was held virtually via video conference for the first time, Komar was presented with the prestigious Disney Quality Product Award for particularly high-quality designs.
The award was presented for the Star Wars characters hand-drawn by the Komar designers, which can be purchased as murals in the sizes 30x40, 40x50 and 50x70. "By acquiring the Walt Disney license, we have given children and adults alike the opportunity to bring their heroes and role models into their own four walls in large format," said Komar CEO Sabine Komar-Häusler. "Of course, we are extremely honoured that we have had Disney on board as a licence partner for 10 years now and that our work has finally been honoured with one of the coveted awards again".
