Canon is launching two new high performance solutions for digital cut sheet printing in September. The imagePRESS C10010VP with a capacity of 100 pages per minute and the imagePRESS C9010VP for 90 pages per minute complete the current portfolio. The new systems offer even more options for automating print processes, resulting in far less manual intervention and increasing production efficiency.
Advanced features include ultrasonic multi-sheet detection, active front-to-back registration and inline spectrometric sensor (ILS) for consistent colour reproduction in all runs. In addition, Canon's dual fusing unit ensures that full productivity is maintained even when different media with different weights and textures are used within a job. The optional High Capacity Stacker, which can be emptied during the print run, goes one step further to ensure extremely high productivity. Thanks to the long-sheet feeder, perfecting can be carried out on materials up to 762 mm. 1,000 sheets are fed via the Canon POD Deck XL. The BDT VX 370 Feeder - with its 5,000-sheet capacity - can also feed long sheets up to 762mm and print on both sides thanks to its unique feeding technology. Peak volumes can thus be easily handled.
Turning customer challenges into profitable opportunities
For applications where durable and water-resistant results are required, the support of synthetic media is important. This is no problem for Canon systems.
Even long sheet media up to 1300mm for a wider range of marketing materials can be printed. Media weights between 60 and 400 g/m² and embossed paper can be used. The unique structure of CV toner offers superior durability and higher transfer performance. This allows you to benefit from even greater accuracy for text and images on every page and in every print run. All in all, the CV toner, the wide range of printable media and the various finishing options allow for highly creative applications.
The innovative R-VCSEL technology, multi-D.A.T. colour matching and versatile print grids for ultimate image quality make it ideal for everything from menu cards to mailings and from books to long sheets. These versatile applications enable print service providers to create added value for their customers and themselves.
For maximum flexibility, printers can create their own configuration to suit their own business needs.
