Swedish company Konftel, a world leader in effective remote conferencing products, is previewing some of this year's new products at ISE 2020 in Amsterdam and ITExpo in Fort Lauderdale. The range of videoconferencing products will be expanded to include the all-in-one solution Konftel CC200. This is a conference camera with integrated video codec and support for popular collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom and Webex. The new hands-free Konftel 70 will take its place in video packages for small and medium-sized conference rooms.
The corporate culture is changing rapidly around the world. As a result, more and more meetings are taking place but fewer people are involved. Often at least one person participates via remote conferencing. This is why companies and other organisations are currently setting up so-called Huddle Rooms at a rapid pace. To meet user expectations, these many small conference rooms must be equipped for flexible video conferencing. This market segment is projected to grow 38 percent annually through 2023*.
"We are seeing strong market demand for our USB video packages for conference rooms of all sizes. We launched these packages in the fall of 2018. The next step will be to address the large group of customers who need all-in-one solutions for video conferencing where you don't have to rely on a user's laptop or PC in the room," says Tommy Edlund, Global Sales Director at Konftel.
The market for special video conferencing equipment is expected to be more than twice as large as the market for USB conference cameras by 2023 - with the latter showing the highest growth rates.
Offer with great freedom of choice
The Konftel CC200 is the first model in the new product category "Collaboration Cameras". It is an all-in-one videoconferencing device that supports SIP and H.323, making it compatible with all standards-based video systems, equipment and videoconferencing services. Thanks to the open environment for Android apps, Konftel CC200 can also be used with popular collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom or Webex.
"It only takes a few minutes to install a Konftel CC200. There are no cables to run around the room. Afterwards, users can count on razor-sharp video quality and clear sound during every conference. The video conferencing machine does not need a PC to function as a video platform. The Konftel 70 handsfree complements Konftel's portfolio of USB and Bluetooth products. It stands out from comparable products through simplicity, performance and design.

Just because the handsfree is connected via USB does not mean that the sound quality and audio performance during the video conference is compromised.
