ISE 2020: New Epson 30,000 lumen projector

Spectacular projection show "EpsonUnboxed" at the Epson booth

With the Epson EB-30000, Epson is presenting its new laser projector with a luminous flux of up to 30,000 lumens for the first time at the ISE 2020 (February 11 - 14, 2020, Hall 1 Stand H90).
Epson, the world's leading projector manufacturer, will be presenting its new EB-L30000U laser projector with a luminous flux of 30,000 lumens at the upcoming ISE (RAI Amsterdam, February 11-14, 2020) at Stand H90 in Hall 1. Two of these devices will be "stacked" in an elaborate installation, demonstrating how impressive 4K projections with up to 60,000 lumens can be achieved cost-effectively. In addition, Epson will be showing a range of new AV solutions for business, education and retail at this year's ISE.

Other new products on the stand include

A new ultra-short distance lens (ELPLX03) for laser projectors with 30,000 and 25,000 lumens luminous flux. Epson is the only projector manufacturer to offer zero-offset ultra-short distance interchangeable lenses for projectors from 5,500 to 30,000 lumens.
A new laser projector for ultra-short distance projection in business meetings (EB1485Fi), which supports dual link edge blending technology
Two new signage projectors, EB-W70 and EB-805F, the former designed for use in retail window displays and the latter for general corporate signage applications.
A new mac-based user-friendly PROAV software tool.

#EpsonUnboxed is this year's highlight in the projection mapping area at the Epson booth. The visually sophisticated installation shows eight different, complex episodes that include a variety of elaborate graphics and projection mapping effects. The individual scenes run as a linear story, which develops step by step in a crescendo and ends with the unveiling of a Formula 1 racing car.

Axel Inhoffen, Epson's Manager Professional Display in Europe, explains: "This year we are showing our most comprehensive product portfolio for the AV sector to date. We will be presenting Epson's complete range of laser projectors with 4K-Enhanced installation projectors including interchangeable lenses - from the high-end EB-L30000U with 30,000 lumens to ProAV laser projectors for the entry-level market. We have also continued to expand our range of signage projectors for retail and hospitality applications, as well as completing our range of ultra-short distance projectors for education and business. More innovations will follow in the course of the year.
An additional highlight of Epson's appearance at the ISE 2020 is, for example, the presentation of the Moverio multimedia glasses, which are used in cooperation with a solution from Emozionella and Toledo Train Vision for tourists. Visitors to the stand will ride through the city of Toledo in a virtual train with Moverio multimedia glasses and experience them in an augmented reality created using the high luminosity of Epson projectors.

Inhoffen continues: "Augmented Reality has grown up quickly. Many applications have long since left the feasibility study phase behind and are now standard applications. Our collaboration with Toledo Train Vision is an excellent example of this. It shows how multimedia glasses are used today by the tourism industry, for example, to improve the visitor experience. This example is just one of the many practical applications for augmented reality in various sectors ranging from retail, healthcare and education to remote maintenance and service, entertainment, museums and visitor attractions.
